Rangers make surprising cuts with top prospects sent to AHL as season looms

With opening night just four days away, the Rangers sent Gabe Perreault and Scott Morrow to AHL Hartford. Perreault, a 2023 first-round pick, and Morrow, who impressed at camp, will start the season in the minors.
