It’s a rematch of the rematch, in Raleigh.
Weren’t we just here? After what felt like a quick weekend, the Islanders and Hurricanes are back at it for Game 2.
Same goalies get the nets. For the Islanders, J-G Pageau made the morning skate and is a gametime decision.

Questions:
- The Islanders controlled play for decent stretches in Game 1; can they repeat that — and if so, can they convert on more of their chances?
- The Isles also largely avoided the penalty box, outside of one iffy call, one fluke puck-over-the-glass, and one undisciplined slash that led to an impressive flop. Can they do that again?
- Over/under on dives by the Hurricanes tonight?
- Anyone wanna bet they actually get called on one?
This is our in-game thread. Sometimes there’s even talk of sports.
