The New York Jets (4-10) moved forward into the final stages of their 2024 NFL schedule with a 32-25 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-11) in Week 15.
Following the win, as is always the case, we were taught a few things about this football team. There were nuggets to take away from all three phases of the game.
With that, here are three things we learned from the Jets’ win over the Jaguars:
The duo had something

Who would have thought?
It’s far too little and much too late, but the duo that the Jets dreamed of when trading for wide receiver Davante Adams came to life in Jacksonville.
Adams, along with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, shined against the Jaguars. Adams had nine catches for 198 yards and two touchdowns while connecting with the QB.
The Jags have one of the NFL’s worst defenses, so the brakes need to be pumped. But is this a momentum builder?
Holding onto a win

Another game… another lead heading into the fourth quarter…
But the Jets won? Along with the pair above showing up, this finally happened for Gang Green for the first time all season.
Interceptions are possible

And let’s go three-for-three in terms of surprises. An interception? In this Jeff Ulbrich economy? For the first time since the interim head coach took over his post, the Jets defense recorded not just one but two picks, The first was from Jalen Mills and the game-sealing play came via Sauce Gardner.
