We find out dates and times of games a bit early.
Today is schedule release day in the NFL. The full schedule is set to be released at 8:00 pm Eastern on NFL Network, but some schedule news always leaks in advance. There are reports that the full Jets 2025 schedule has been leaked.

The picture circulating of the #Jets schedule seems to be accurate from what I’ve been told. So you’re looking at:
Week 1: vs PIT 1:00 pm
Week 2: vs BUF 1:00 pm
Week 3: @ TB 1:00 pm
Week 4: @ MIA MNF
Week 5: vs DAL 1:00 pm
Week 6: DEN in London 9:30 am
Week 7: vs CAR 1:00 pm…— Matt O’Leary (@MattOLearyNY) May 14, 2025
There are certainly some interesting dynamics at play with this schedule. The Jets would open against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Jets plan to start Justin Fields at quarterback, who was on the Steelers roster last year. The Steelers could well be starting Aaron Rodgers, the Jets’ starting quarterback from a year ago.
Every team in the league wants to get off to a fast start, but it would be especially important for the Jets with a schedule like this. Five of the team’s nine home games would take place in the first seven weeks of the season (although one of their designated home games is in London against the Broncos).
On paper, this does seem navigable. The schedule nominally begins with three straight games against teams that made the Playoffs a year ago, but only Buffalo from that group is a major Super Bowl contender. Pittsburgh as a fringe Playoff team, and Tampa Bay won a soft division. The elements seem to be in place for the Jets to exceed expectations.
