Oliver is a useful player to have because of his versatility but some of his weaknesses were exposed this year in an uneven season so his return in 2026 is uncertain.
Smith was undrafted out of Kentucky in 2023 and has played in nine NFL games, all with the Broncos last season. He registered seven tackles, most of which were on special teams, which will be his likely role with the Jets. He is 6’2″ and ran 4.61 in the 40-yard dash, with an impressive 126-inch broad jump.
