Nine years after he last kicked for the Jets, Nick Folk is back:

Folk, who is now 40, was out of the league in 2018 but played seven games with New England in 2019 and then made 90 percent of his field goals for them over the next three seasons. He was even better over the past two years with the Titans as he led the NFL in field goal percentage in both years, missing just two of his 52 attempts.
He was six-for-six from beyond 50 yards in 2024, although somewhat bizarrely those six field goals came in just two games in which he had three 50-yarders. He was five-for-six on such kicks in 2023.
He will be somewhat unique as the only player on the team who was around the last time the Jets were in the playoffs (where, of course, he hit a big game-winner in Indianapolis). He was a teammate of Mason Taylor’s father Jason on that team.
