The Jets have announced their pre-game roster moves for tomorrow:
We have signed CB Jordan Clark & QB Brady Cook to the active roster.
We’ve also elevated DB Tre Brown & DB Nik Needham.
Additionally, we’ve placed CB Jarvis Brownlee Jr. & LB Marcelino McCrary-Ball on the injured reserve.

By placing them onto injured reserve, the Jets are effectively ruling Brownlee and McCrary-Ball out for the rest of the season, although strictly speaking they would be eligible to return before the last game. Brownlee is under contract for next year and McCrary-Ball will be an exclusive rights free agent so he’ll be back too.
In addition, the Jets ruled Cam Jones out and downgraded Tony Adams to doubtful.
The Cook move was obviously necessary because of Justin Fields being out. The Jets will hope he’s not needed.
Clark will be active for the second straight week with Jarvis Brownlee out. He did not contribute last week as the Jets used Ja’Sir Taylor in the slot. However, Aaron Glenn implied he might get his chance this week.
Brown and Needham, each of whom will be making their Jets debut, should provide added special teams depth with Brownlee and Adams unavailable. Isaiah Oliver and Malachi Monroe will presumably start at safety, although Brown and Dean Clark could also play a role.
