With the NFL draft all wrapped up, it’s time to take a look at those undrafted free agents who have reportedly landed with the Jets. Some of these names may change as players sometimes opt to go elsewhere after getting a better offer, but here’s where we are as of now. Continue to check this page for updates.
Quarterback Brady Cook, Missouri:
A player who we believed was worth a day 3 pick, Cook is a fantastic pick up here. An athletic QB who can make big plays with his legs but also has the arm strength and accuracy to be effective inside and outside of the pocket.
RB Donovan Edwards, Michigan:
A big play running back who just a couple of years ago looked like a player who was a lock to be chosen, Edwards didn’t hear his name called during the draft. In Edwards the Jets get an explosive ball carrier from a winning program.
WR Jamaal Pritchett, South Alabama:
You can never have enough speed and the Jets added another burner in Pritchett who we viewed as a very good run after catch option. Logged 1,127 receiving yads and nine touchdowns in 2024.
DL Fatormah Mulbah, West Virginia:
The Jets passed on the deepest defensive tackle class we’ve ever seen and didn’t pick a single player, but they do appear to have added the 6′ 4” 306 lb run stopper who had a total of fifty tackles in 2024.
Edge Ja’Markis Weston, Florida:
Weston will get a look as a special teams player which was where he excelled in college. As a pure defensive player he had just sixteen tackles in six college seasons.
CB Jordan Clark, Notre Dame:
Son of NFL analyst Ryan Clark, the former Arizona State product is better suited for zone coverage than man and logged 176 tackles and four interceptions in six college seasons. Will likely compete at the nickel spot for Gang Green.
WR Quentin Skinner, Kansas:
A tall, lanky receiver who has been a cog in Kansas’ offense for several years now, Skinner shows very good hands and catch radius. The 6′ 5” Skinner has been a big play threat for Jalon Daniels for several years now, averaging a whopping 19.8 yards per catch over three seasons.
S Dean Clark, Fresno State:
A free safety who has been a nice move piece for Fresno State, Clark has played a significant chunk of snaps in the box and the slot while not backed up as a safety. Plays with his hair on fire and comes charging downhill against the run and on blitzes. Had a career high 3 interceptions in 2023.
K Caden Davis, Ole Miss:
A very accurate kicker from inside of 40 yards, going 25-29 in those situations, Davis brings in competition at a spot with plenty of questions.
LB Aaron Smith, South Carolina State:
A small school product who is referred to as a good athlete who can cover backs and tight ends by the 2025 football game plan draft guide, Smith joins a LB group with very few roster locks.
OL Gus Hartwig, Purdue:
An excellent pass blocker, the Jets lack of proven depth along their offensive line gives Hartwig a chance to hang around for a while. He’s a player we would expect to at least make the team’s practice squad.
OL Leander Wiegand, Germany:
An offensive tackle out of Germany who we only know one thing about…the dude is insanely strong. This post on his Instagram shows Weigand knocking out 38 reps of 225.
LB Jared Bartlett, Cincinnati:
Bartlett transferred from West Virginia to Cincy where he picked up a career high 69 tackles and 7.5 sacks after moving from the defensive line to linebacker. Aaron Glenn was likely drawn to Bartlett’s versatility.
WR Dymere Miller, Rutgers:
The Rutgers product gives the Jets another speedy wide receiver who was clocked in the 4.3’s at his pro day along with a 34” vertical. Miller hauled in 59 balls for 757 yards and four touchdowns last season.
