Who will the Jets take on day two of the 2025 NFL draft?

The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft is in the books. Tonight we have rounds two and three on tap, starting at 7 pm EDT.
The New York Jets currently own pick #42 in round 2 and pick #73 in round 3. Last night the Jets chose offensive tackle Armand Membou with the seventh overall selection in the first round. Membou is likely to start at right tackle for the Jets, barring injury. He fills a big need on the offensive line, which is now complete with three interior linemen who excelled last season and two young tackles taken with picks in the top 11 of the draft in 2023 and 2024. It’s a young group which the Jets spent a lot of draft capital on. If they live up to their billing the Jets might have a top offensive line for years to come.
Tonight there is still plenty of talent on the board for the Jets to continue building out the roster. Since the Jets have needs almost everywhere, other than perhaps on the offensive line, just about anything is possible tonight. There are interesting options at tight end, wide receiver, safety, cornerback, edge, and just about any other position the Jets might want. We will see shortly what direction the Jets go in.
