NFL Betting Picks | Super Bowl LX MVP Odds

Andre from UnitedGamblers.com is here again, this time to discuss Super Bowl 60. He was on JetNation throughout the 2025 NFL season to provide betting information, tips, and predictions for the New York Jets and the NFL. With a new champion on the horizon, his focus has shifted to the upcoming title game.

We’ve seen this film before, but the ending may be a bit different this time. The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will duke it out for the Lombardi Trophy, as they did just over a decade ago.

New England toughed out a 10-7 win in Denver to punch their ticket to Santa Clara. Meanwhile, Seattle bested the Rams 31-27 for a ninth consecutive win. The Seahawks play in Levi’s Stadium every season.

Fresh faces will etch their name in NFL lore forever on February 8. The Super Bowl MVP will join an exclusive club that immortalizes a championship-clinching performance on the biggest stage of them all.

Below, we’ll look at the odds for the Super Bowl LX MVP and pick out likely winners of the prestigious honor. If you’d like to bet on the Super Bowl MVP this year, check out the best football betting apps and lock in your pick before it’s too late.

Super Bowl LX MVP Odds

Here are the seven players with the shortest odds (highest likelihood) to win this year’s Super Bowl MVP, according to Caesars Sportsbook. Odds are subject to change.

Super Bowl MVP Favorites: The Quarterbacks

The bottom line is that betting on the Super Bowl MVP is usually betting on the winning team’s quarterback.

There have been 60 recipients through the first 59 Super Bowls, and 34 of those players were the winning QB. A member of the losing team has only won Super Bowl MVP once. That person, linebacker Chuck Howley, is only one of 10 defenders to take home the award, a total boosted by Super Bowl XII’s co-MVPs, DE Harvey Martin and DT Randy White.

Five of the previous six Super Bowl MVP recipients quarterbacked the winning team. If the Seahawks win Super Bowl LX, Sam Darnold will probably take home the hardware, even if others seem more qualified. The same goes for Drake Maye if the Patriots win it all again. That’s just the way it tends to work.

As an extension of picking a winning side, taking either QB to win Super Bowl MVP has better odds than either side’s moneyline. It may be boring, but it’s worthwhile.

The position with the second-most Super Bowl MVPs happens to be wide receiver, with eight all-time. The last two non-QB Super Bowl MVPs were wide receivers: current Seahawk Cooper Kupp and retired Patriot Julian Edelman.

There are solid cases to be made for the starting RBs, but they face uphill battles against the respective defenses. Rashid Shaheed is also intriguing, thanks to his abilities as a returner and long odds. One huge play could wildly swing the award in Shaheed’s favor.

However, Jaxon Smith-Njigba (JSN), the presumptive Offensive Player of the Year, is a matchup nightmare as evidenced by his 153-yard and one-touchdown conference championship performance. He accounted for roughly 44% of Seattle’s receiving production this season, so where Darnold goes, JSN is likely to be right there. In a tight game, JSN will have more opportunities to shine.

Like the win against the Rams, Super Bowl Sunday seems like another perfect opportunity for a JSN showcase, especially with Zach Charbonnet leaving Seattle without an important offensive weapon. Having to rely on Darnold for stats makes it difficult for JSN to snatch the award from the favorite, no doubt about it. Yet, he gets such a large volume of the receiving stats that if this plays out like most Seahawks games, JSN’s stats will be impossible to ignore.

Especially if he has a crucial catch or two in crunch time.
