Good morning, GGN! The Jets play a 2-7 Chargers team on Sunday and if you were just focused on their record you’d think the Chargers present a good opportunity for the first Jets win of the season. But the Chargers are probably a much better team than the record indicates. They boast the league’s #3 ranked offense and #12 ranked defense. That’s actually quite good. The Chargers have seven losses and every one of them have been by a touchdown or less. These Chargers look like they have been the victims of more than their share of bad luck. These things tend to even out over time. So though the record indicates the Chargers are a terrible team, dig deeper and it looks like they are a much tougher opponent than the record indicates. We’ll see on Sunday how this shakes out.
