The Jets had a new quarterback under center Sunday but still managed to produce a similar result in a 30-10 loss to the Cardinals.
Joe Flacco wasn’t particularly sharp in relief of an injured Sam Darnold, but between the team’s inability to score in the red zone and conservative play-calling, the Jets stood no shot against the Cardinals. Arizona wasn’t by any means dominant, but it was able to run at will against a New York interior that’s supposed to be the strength of the defense. With that, Kliff Kingsbury’s unit was able to tack on 500 yards of total offense as the Cardinals got back on track with a road win.
