Andre from UnitedGamblers.com is back at it for the Jets’ Week 15 matchup. He has been appearing on JetNation throughout the 2025 NFL season to provide betting information, tips, and predictions for the New York Jets and the NFL. Gang Green is in Florida for the third time this Sunday.
Unlike last season, the Jets couldn’t salvage a split with the Dolphins. The team dropped the ball en route to a 34-10 defeat.
Looking to put that result in the rearview, the Jets will try to bring their best against the AFC South-leading Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags are no joke, as they waltz into Week 15 amid a four-game winning streak. This isn’t the same team that the Jets beat in Jacksonville last December.

New York Jets Spread vs. Jaguars: +13.5 (-110) via BetMGM
Along with their four-game winning streak, the Jaguars beat the spread in all of those matchups. This is a team that’s on a roll. Although the Jets have been playing better of late, Sunday is still a tough sell for their spread.
Jacksonville has put up 25+ points in six consecutive contests. Although the Jets have had their moments, the offense is still 25th in scoring and 29th in yards. It’ll be hard for New York to keep up with a top-10 scoring team without considering the defenses.
Flipping to the other side of the ball doesn’t help the Jets either. The Jaguars are 11th in scoring defense while the Jets are 27th by that metric. New York has allowed at least 20 points in six straight. Jacksonville has held three of their previous four foes under 20 points, including two games where the opponent didn’t reach 10.
The Jets are notoriously last in turnover differential (-15), whereas the Jaguars are tied for sixth (+8). Home-field advantage tilts things in Jacksonville’s favor too. The best thing going for the Jets’ spread this week is how large it is, but that may not be enough.
It’s probably best to stay away from this one, especially without Garrett Wilson active.
Jets vs. Jaguars Total Pick: Over 41.5 (-108) via FanDuel Sportsbook
The over has hit more often for both teams this season. That includes the last game for both clubs.
With the way that Jacksonville’s playing lately (and New York’s defense for most of the season), the Jaguars should keep their streak of games with 25+ points alive. That is, unless the Jets start forcing turnovers for the first time all year.
That leaves the rest of the total in the hands of the Jets’ offense, assuming they finish with roughly 14-17 points. Although New York hasn’t had the most productive unit, the offense averages 22.2 points on the road. The team has exceeded 20 points in three of its five away games.
It might be tight, but this matchup should squeak over the total before the final whistle.
