Andre Ifill, a betting expert from UnitedGamblers.com, is back after a busy bye week for New York’s Week 10 matchup. He will be appearing on JetNation throughout the 2025 NFL season to provide betting information, tips, and predictions for the New York Jets and the NFL. The Jets will try to beat another Ohio team this Sunday.
The last time the Jets played was two Sundays ago when they polished off their first win of the season. They had a bye afterward, and although those are usually uneventful, the trade deadline shook things up for Gang Green this year.
New faces are in, beloved players are elsewhere, and known names have new roles.
Regardless of all the changes, Sunday’s mission remains the same. Find a way to beat the Browns at home.

New York Jets Money Line vs. Browns: +118 via BetMGM
Cleveland has failed to cover the spread in nine consecutive road games, a streak that dates back to last November. Straight up, the Browns have a 12-game losing streak as a visiting team.
Defensively, this Browns team could cause some issues on Sunday. They hold foes to the second-fewest yards per game. Along with that, Cleveland’s defense is 10th in sacks despite trailing often.
The reason that the Jets will win this game, outside of Cleveland’s years-long road woes, is that the Browns’ offense is putrid. New York’s new-look defense will have its first test against a team that’s 30th in scoring and 31st in yards per game.
Across the board, Cleveland’s offensive numbers decline when they travel.
New York’s defense should force plenty of stops this week. Although it isn’t always pretty, the Jets’ offense is more dynamic than Cleveland’s. This is a good week to bet on the Jets to come out on top.
Jets vs. Browns Total Pick: Under 38 (-110) via Bet365
The Jets have had plenty of high-scoring games this season, but Sunday’s probably won’t be one of them.
Cleveland’s offensive issues have been discussed already. However, the bottom line is that the Browns average 12.3 points on the road this season.
As for New York, their 17.5 points per game at MetLife aren’t much to brag about either. This Jets team comes out of the bye ranked 25th in scoring and yards per game.
Don’t anticipate much scoring this weekend. At least not in this matchup.
New York Jets Prop Bet of the Week: Garrett Wilson 50+ Receiving Yards (-123) via DraftKings Sportsbook
If and when the Jets move the ball, Garrett Wilson is likely to be at the forefront as always. His return from an injury shouldn’t be a deterrent.
Before the Broncos game, his last time on the field, Wilson had finished with at least 50 receiving yards in 10 straight games. He averages 63.9 receiving yards per game in his career despite an interesting QB carousel.
When Wilson is on the field, he finds ways to make plays. Those odds are generous for Wilson’s body of work, and he should reach 50 receiving yards again this weekend.
