The Jets signed another member of their 2022 draft class Monday, inking third-round TE Jeremy Ruckert.
Ruckert became the fourth pick to sign after the team signed all three of its first-round picks earlier this month.
Ruckert grew up a Jets fan on Long Island, making the signing moment an extra special one. Ruckert’s dad even led a Jets chant while his son signed his first NFL contract.

Ruckert joins a crowded tight end group with veterans C.J. Uzomah and Tyler Conklin, but the rookie should eventually find a spot in the Jets offense.
He finished his career at Ohio State with 54 receptions for 615 yards and 12 touchdowns.
