New York’s neophytes got their first taste of regular season action against Carolina. Some of Gang Green’s prized rookies made positive contributions throughout the afternoon, while others struggled to bring anything impressive to the table. Growing pains are expected this early in the season, making it likely the Jets can count a bit more on their rookies producing consistently as the season progresses.
