The New York Jets might get some reinforcements on offense soon.
The team announced this week that wide receiver Allen Lazard (chest) and offensive lineman Wes Schweizer (finger) have had their 21-day practice windows opened.
The Jets (3-9) face the Miami Dolphins (5-7) on Sunday in Week 14. It remains to be seen if either player can suit up, but in most cases that does not happen right away.
New York has that time frame to activate both players from injured reserve. If that does not happen, both revert back to IR and they will stay there until the end of the season.
Lazard could stand to be an impact maker with quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the coming weeks if he is brought back. Schweizer would return as a depth piece on the O-line.
Upon coming back to practice, the duo were both listed as full participants in practice on Wednesday.
Jets Wire will provide updates as information is made available.
