The New York Jets lost to the Miami Dolphins in Week 14 but Garrett Wilson is not at fault.
In the 32-26 overtime defeat, Wilson was a stud.
The wideout led New York with 114 receiving yards on seven catches. Even with his massive outing, Wilson did not care too much about his personal numbers. He was upset about the scoreboard following the contest.
“Losing period sucks,” Wilson said. “Mindset is right, process is right but at the end of the day we gotta stop being losers.”
With the outcome, the Jets (3-10) failed to play spoiler against the Dolphins (6-7) and their own postseason fate has become official. New York is eliminated from the playoffs.
Like Wilson, interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich was left looking for answers again.
“That’s what makes this so much more frustrating and maddening. The process is right, the guys are working hard,” Ulbrich said via video conference. “It’s not translating to the field on Sundays.”
Four more games left.

“Losing period sucks. When you’re up in the 4th quarter all of a sudden it starts to feel like we have a losing problem, like a gene or some s–t.”
