The Jetsxodus continues:
Blockbuster: The Jets are trading three-time Pro Bowl DL Quinnen Williams to the Cowboys, sources tell The Insiders.

This is presumably the deal Jerry Jones alluded to yesterday, so was lined up already, rather than a reaction to the Sauce Gardner trade earlier.
Williams had just one sack this year, in the opener, but had been terrific against the run. Once again, the Jets perhaps value the draft capital and cap saving over his in-game impact, though.
This is clearly a full rebuild now. Guys like Jowon Briggs and Payton Page will have big roles inside.
UPDATE: New York acquires a Dallas’ second round pick in 2026, their 2027 first rounder and defensive tackle Mazi Smith. Smith was the Cowboys’s first round pick in 2023 and started every game last year. He hadn’t played much this year though and has been disappointing overall.
