This offseason Aaron Rodgers made a point to his team that the focus needs to be completely on football and he seems to be walking the walk.
As the Jets and others open their voluntary offseason workouts ahead of the draft, the 40-year-old QB is confirmed to be in attendance.
“happy to see you too @AaronRodgers12,” the franchise’s social media account shared to start the week.
Last year Rodgers didn’t attend all of New York’s voluntary program but shared that he’d be present for “more than half.” Which is roughly 50% more than he attended in his final season with the Packers.
It’s been a relatively quiet offseason for the four-time MVP all things considered.
After all the noise surrounding his Green Bay exit and in the lead-up to his Jets debut, Rodgers has kept the headlines to a minimum and taken some time off from his regular appearances on the “Pat McAfee Show.”
Aaron’s season ended after just four plays in 2023 when he tore his Achilles on New York’s first drive in Week 1.
With so many expectations yet to be fulfilled, the silence has probably been music to Jets fans’ ears.
The Jets went 7-10 last year which wasn’t terrible given the circumstances. But they went out and got Aaron Rodgers to win a Super Bowl and the road to the Lombardi starts with everyone being all in.
