The 2021 NFL draft ended after the final pick was announced Saturday, but the Jets weren’t done adding players. New York signed 12 undrafted free agents over the weekend who cover a variety of needs across the roster.
Joe Douglas has found value among UDFAs in the past. Defensive backs Lamar Jackson and Javelin Guidry, as well as edge rusher Bryce Huff, all played at least 11 games last year. A couple of this year’s players could creep up the depth chart at a few positions if they play well enough in training camp, on the practice squad and on special teams.
