The Jets have been decimated by injuries and COVID at tight end recently. Joe Douglas made a move to bolster New York’s depth at the position last week, signing veteran Josh Perkins to the practice squad.
Perkins, 28, has been around the block and has a chance to factor into the plans for Gang Green’s season finale against the Bills. Ryan Griffin and Trevon Wesco are out for the year, Tyler Kroft is on the COVID list and Dan Brown suffered an injury against the Buccaneers in Week 17, leaving Kenny Yeboah as the only healthy tight end on the active roster.
