The 2025 NFL Draft is officially over, and the New York Jets walk away with a fresh group of prospects to add to their roster. Here’s a quick look at the draft class and some Jets UDFA thoughts are below that.
-
Round 1, Pick 7: Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
-
Round 2, Pick 42: Mason Taylor, TE, LSU
-
Round 3, Pick 73: Azareye’h Thomas, CB, Florida State
-
Round 4, Pick 110: Arian Smith, WR, Georgia
-
Round 4, Pick 130: Malachi Moore, S, Alabama
-
Round 5, Pick 162: Francisco Mauigoa, LB, Miami
-
Round 5, Pick 176: Tyler Baron, DE, Louisville
Early fan sentiment seems to be pretty positive about the Jets first few rounds, especially the selections of Membou and Taylor. However, there’s definitely some concern about the later picks, which is usually the case in the NFL Draft. Many fans were surprised that the Jets didn’t draft a defensive tackle or a quarterback, two positions that were expected to be addressed.
With the draft complete, the focus now shifts to undrafted free agents. In the JetNation forums, we have the Official UDFA – We Have Holes to Fill Thread, where signings are being tracked live. You can follow all the updates Jets UDFA updates. Lith gave us a recap of the reports so far”
