Fast Bullets from Wonder on the 2025 NFL Draft. Defensive Tackles evaluated below.
- The only blue chip in the draft is Hunter. Not even close.
- Big gap between Hunter and Carter
- Carter is very good but I would trade down out of the pick
- Carter is not Micah Parsons
- Carter will get swallowed up on the DL, he is a perfect 4-3 OLBer
- Carter does not have enough value at 1.03 overall
- The value of TJ Watt is better than Carter because of Watt’s body-type
- Andy here, I pushed back on Wonder a bit here because Parsons and Watt both are the same height and weight (6’3″ 250 lbs) as Carter. I defer to Wonder in terms of how they play. Carter did seem to me to buckle so he probably needs to add muscle in the weight room.
- Shadeur Sanders is accurate. I do not care about those interviews that allegedly went sour. He is not falling past the Steelers, so I would bet under 21.5. Anyone saying he falls out of Round 1 is crazy. That is not happening. Sanders on the stacked 49ers or even the Lions right now would be very very good. He needs a team around him but can play well in the NFL.
- The Giants needed to lose that game so they just get Ward and all of this is done.
- If you put RB Jeanty behind a good OL he gets 2000 yards. Jeanty is special.
- Compact, bowling ball, burner, 220 lb
- 4-5″ shorter version of Bo Jackson
- Dart at 2.34 is fine
- Milroe- the more I watch, the more I like, a faster quicker version of Jalen Hurts
- Round 2. If the Giants trade back into R1 (~1.18-1.25) it is not terrible for either Milroe or Dart.
- Dart and Milroe are just different QBs, does not necessarily agree w Dan Schneier on the preference of Milroe over Dart. Big time arm for Dart.
Defensive Tackle
- Mason Graham. Not as good as experts say. Not top 10 value. Will be very good but will be overdrafted.
- Derrick Harmon. I think he can be a better pro than Graham. A lot of upside. quick, strong, moves great for a huge guy. Late R1, early R2 value.
- Walter Nolen. Wish he was a little bigger, as he is an Aaron Donald-type. WRs could have better value than him in early R2.
- Kenneth Grant. True run stuffer. Can play NT. Has some pass rush skills.
- Shemar Turner. Deep value. Another true run stuffer. Modern 3 technique. R3 steal. Love his SEC experience. (I saw him mocked 101, so could even get to Giants at 3.99 or 4.05)
- Tyleik Williams. Performed well at Ohio St. Very experienced, and another true NT. TOUGH TO RUN AGAINST HIM.
- T.J. Sanders. Just a slightly lesser version of Turner. Round 3.
- Darius Alexander. Shows well BUT concerned about performance especially vs mediocre opponents. Will Toledo translate to the NFL? I wasn’t impressed enough.
- Alfred Collins. HUGE with great potential. Steal in R4.
- Deone Walker. SLEEPER. Another massive guy who has unusual speed/potential. Can play NT or DE. Round 5.
- Ty Hamilton. Late Round 5 or after is good value with upside.
