NEW YORK GIANTS HEAD COACHING SEARCH CONTINUES…
The New York Giants continue the interview process to determine who will coach the team in 2026. Here is the latest:
- Mike Kafka (Giants interim head coach – in-person interview completed)
- Kevin Stefanski (former Browns head coach – in-person interview completed on Wednesday)
- Vance Joseph (Broncos defensive coordinator – virtual interview completed on Wednesday)
- Raheem Morris (former Falcons head coach – in-person interview completed on Thursday)
- Antonio Pierce (former Raiders head coach – in-person interview completed on Friday)
- Darren Rizzi (Broncos assistant head coach and special teams coordinator – virtual interview completed on Saturday)
- Klint Kubiak (Seahawks offensive coordinator – virtual interview completed on Saturday)
- Mike McCarthy (former Packers/Cowboys head coach – in-person interview scheduled to being today or Monday and continue through Tuesday)
Virtual interviews are being held with candidates from teams who are still currently in the playoffs. The Giants have also reportedly requested interviews with:
- John Harbaugh (former Ravens head coach – in-person interview)
- Lou Anarumo (Colts defensive coordinator – virtual interview)
- Kliff Kingsbury (former Commanders offensive coordinator – virtual interview)
- Davis Webb (Broncos offensive pass game coordinator and quarterback coach – virtual interview)
It is not known yet whether the virtual interviews with Anarumo, Kingsbury, and Webb have been completed. Harbaugh is expected to meet with the Giants this week.
Other than General Manager Joe Schoen, it is not known who is conducting these interviews given the health status of team President/CEO John Mara.
