- Dart has been impressive. 6-12 and WRs had between 4 and 5 drops.
- Dart MUST SLIDE. MUST. Lucky to only have wind knocked about of him by Dr. Gibby (who also collected a sack too).
- I think I’ve seen more screens in this preseason than the last 5 combined. This is great, because these plays need a lot of practice to be executed properly in a game.
- Fidone made the team tonight
- Mbow continues to manhandle 2nd and 3rd stringers
- Trace Ford is a playmaker
- TJ Moore goes from the penthouse (pick 6) to the outhouse (carted off field w bad leg injury). Horrible swing.
- The spirit/unity of the team is very real. The leadership from players is there.
- Tommy DeVito earned himself a roster spot… on another team. He’ll get cut and picked up by another team.
- Evan Neal gave up 4 pressures in 22 pass snaps, assuming I read the graphic correctly. That’s awful. We desperately need him for the run game. But he can’t be a liability in pass protection.
- September 7th can’t come soon enough. We will find out if this preseason goodwill translates into the regular season.
- Did I say that Dart must slide? Yah, just checking. Slide, damn it.
- I won’t bungee jump if the Giants go 0-3 (at WAS, at DAL, KC) but I really think 1-2 is important if we want a real season.
