NEW YORK GIANTS SIGN ABDUL CARTER…
The New York Giants have announced that the team has officially signed 1st-round draft pick outside linebacker Abdul Carter. The deal is reportedly a fully-guaranteed, 4-year, $45,255,180 contract.
The team’s remaining unsigned draft picks are quarterback Jaxson Dart (1st round), defensive tackle Darius Alexander (3rd round), and running back Cam Skattebo (4th round).
GIANTS RESTRUCTURE BRIAN BURNS…
In order to create salary cap room to sign their remaining draft picks, the Giants have restructured the contract of outside linebacker Brian Burns. The team converted $10 million of his base salary into a signing bonus.
OFFENSIVE ASSISTANT DEPARTS…
Angela Baker, who joined the New York Giants as an offensive quality contract coach in 2022 and became an offensive assistant in 2023, has left the team. No official announcement by the Giants has been made regarding her departure.
SCOUTING STAFF CHANGES…
Jared Osumah, who has been with the Giants for three seasons, has been hired by the University of Massachusetts as the general manager of their football team. He has been replaced by Tyson Beane, who is the son of Buffalo Bills General Manager Brandon Beane.
