The New York Giants made the following seven roster moves on Tuesday:
- ILB Chris Board (pectoral) was placed on Injured Reserve.
- ILB Swayze Bozeman was signed to the 53-man roster from the Practice Squad.
- TE Qadir Ismail and S Patrick McMorris had their Practice Squad contracts terminated.
- WR Dalen Cambre, ILB Neville Hewitt, and ILB Curtis Jacobs were signed to the Practice Squad.
The Giants signed Board as an unrestricted free agent from the Baltimore Ravens in March 2025. He was injured during Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys
The Giants signed Bozeman to the Practice Squad in August 2025. The 6’1”, 230-pound Bozeman was originally signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted rookie free agent after the 2024 NFL Draft. He spent most of his rookie season on the Chiefs’ Practice Squad, but did play in three regular-season games, mostly on special teams. Bozeman signed with the Chicago Bears in January 2025 and was waived in late August.
Cambre is an undrafted rooke free agent who was with the Giants in training camp.
The 32-year old, 6’2”, 235-pound Hewitt was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Miami Dolphins after the 2015 NFL Draft. He has spent time with the Dolphins (2015-2017), New York Jets (2018-2020), and Houston Texans (2021-2024). Hewitt has played in 146 regular-season games with 48 starts. In 2024 for the Texans, Hewitt played in all 17 regular-season games with four starts, accruing 59 tackles, two forced fumbles, three pass defenses, and one interception. He’s been a core special teams player throughout his career.
The 23-year old, 6’1”, 241-pound Jacobs was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Kansas City Chiefs after the 2024 NFL Draft. He was waived by the Chiefs in August 2024 and claimed off of waivers by the New England Patriots. The Patriots waived him in March 2025 and he was then claimed off of waivers by the Tennessee Titans. The Titans waived him in August 2025. Jacobs played in nine games for the Patriots in 2024 with two starts. He was a core special teams player for the Patriots in 2024.
