EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York Giants hope to win a season-opening game for the first time since 2016 and only the second time in the last nine years on Sunday when they host the Denver Broncos at MetLife Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET/FOX).
The Giants will have have Saquon Barkley, Adoree’ Jackson, Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney and Kyle Rudolph available. The only player ruled out due to injury is tight end Evan Engram (calf). [Barkley cleared to play]
Denver will play without edge defender Bradley Chubb, who will sit because of an ankle injury. [Full injury news]
Let’s see if they can improve upon that misfortune on Sunday.
This will be your ONLY OPEN THREAD for in-game discussion, and we hope to post at least a few updates in here throughout the game.
