Malik Nabers updates the condition of his toe.
Malik Nabers of #NYGiants does not rule out the possibility that he may eventually need surgery for the toe injury that kept him out of spring practices. www.bigblueview.com/2025/7/23/24…

Not a surprise or a big deal since this is the first day of camp but the offense has looked sloppy in team drills.

Micah McFadden had a pressure on a blitz. Really hope they tap into that more with him this year.

Thibs having a good practice so far. Has been working against James Hudson who is at LT.

The Van Roten vs. Evan Neal battle for right guard is under way as well.

It appears that Cor’Dale Flott and Deonte Banks are truly competing for a starting CB role.

Pretty ho-hum pre-camp presser, which is surely how the Giants want it.
Schoen said the expectation is Andrew Thomas will be ready for the opener, but said nothing is ever 100 percent.
Brass is fully committed to Russell Wilson as QB1. Doesn’t seem like Jaxson Dart has any…
— Dan Duggan (@DDuggan21) July 23, 2025
Russell Wilson is the clear cut starter for the #Giants.
“These guys will be out here competing but Russ is our starter,” Brian Daboll said.
— Jordan Raanan (@JordanRaanan) July 23, 2025
Daboll said it again: “Russ is our starter.”

The goal for Jaxson Dart this summer is “to get better every day,” according to Brian Daboll. pic.twitter.com/9tvYgE0ltd

Andrew Thomas updates
GM Joe Schoen says he expects Andrew Thomas to be ready Week 1. Nothing is 100% but that is the hope. https://t.co/YkFQhcK72y
— Jordan Raanan (@JordanRaanan) July 23, 2025
Our own Ed Valentine is confirming that Andrew Thomas won’t be on the PUP for long. The Giants are being cautious due to Thomas’ history and after setbacks suffered by Thomas and Neal.
Andrew Thomas on PUP isn’t a big concern — yet. After two injury-plagued years, Thomas and the Giants want to give him the best chance at a fully healthy season. They will take their time with him.
— Ed Valentine (@edvalentine.bsky.social) 2025-07-23T13:01:36.850Z
Andrew Thomas’ stay on the PUP list may be short-lived and is only out of an abundance of caution.
Wouldn’t be overly concerned about LT Andrew Thomas (foot) starting on PUP. Spoke to sources this offseason that said the Giants would bring him along slowly this summer. Expectation is he gets ramped up mid-summer with eyes on the opener. https://t.co/gkgC1Ig66b
