The New York Giants are preparing for an active and exciting trade deadline. The deadline is right around the corner on November 4th, and the Giants are reportedly interested in making some moves.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the league is expecting an active trade deadline with a bevy of potential deals on the way. The Giants could be among those teams wheeling and dealing as they are in the market for a wide receiver, but also have a few of their own players on the trade block.
Giants have several players on the trade block
Giants named on Adam Schefter’s list of 2025 NFL trade deadline candidates:
- QB Russell Wilson
- RB Devin Singletary
- OL Evan Neal
With Jaxson Dart starting at quarterback, Wilson has become expendable for Big Blue.
The same can be said about Singletary, who is now the third-string running back behind rookie Cam Skattebo and second-year rusher Tyrone Tracy Jr., despite signing on to be the starter just last offseason.

Neal, a former top-10 pick, has been a healthy inactive for every game through the first six weeks of the season, indicating the Giants no longer view him as playable. As a result, he could be shipped off to extract value.
Now is the time for the Giants to make some deals
General manager Joe Schoen is no stranger to making trades. He has made several high-profile deals during his time in charge of the Giants, including blockbuster deals to acquire TE Darren Waller in 2023 and EDGE Brian Burns in 2024.
With the Giants clawing their way back into the season, they could use some reinforcements. They are 2-1 in their last three games, including a win over a divisional opponent.

Just two games out of .500 at 2-4, and just two games behind the lead in their division, now is the time for the Giants to strike while the iron is hot.
They could make an upgrade at a position of need via trade to help the team win this season, or they could extract value from expendable players to load up on capital for the 2026 offseason.
