SEPTEMBER 11, 2025 NEW YORK GIANTS INJURY REPORT…
ILB Micah McFadden (foot) and ILB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (calf) did not practice on Thursday.
McFadden was placed on Injured Reserve after practice. Head Coach Brian Daboll said Flannigan-Fowles aggravated a previous injury in practice yesterday.
WR Wan’Dale Robinson (ankle), WR Darius Slayton (groin), LT Andrew Thomas (foot), and DL Rakeem Nuñez-Roches (foot) were limited in practice. Slayton and Nunez-Roches are new additions and we will have to see if they suffered injuries during Thursday’s practice.
WR Malik Nabers (back) fully practiced.
GIANTS CLAIM XAVIER GIPSON, PLACE MICAH McFADDEN ON IR…
The New York Giants have claimed WR/KR Xavier Gipson off of waivers from the New York Jets. The 24-year old, 5’9”, 189-pound Gipson was originally signed by the Jets as an undrafted rookie free agent after the 2023 NFL Draft. Gipson has played in 35 regular-season games with three starts, catching 27 passes for 268 yards and one touchdown. Mostly he was used as a kickoff and punt returner by the Jets, averaging 26 yards per kickoff return and 8.9 yards per punt return and one touchdown. However, he has 10 career fumbles, losing four.
To make room for Gipson, the Giants placed ILB Micah McFadden on Injured Reserve. McFadden was injured during Sunday’s loss to the Washington Commanders.
