DeSean Jackson might not get a bust in Canton, but he might go down as one of the most memorable playmakers of the 2000s and 2010s.
On Wednesday, Jackson formally announced his retirement, ending his NFL career after 15 years. His decision quickly got people recalling some of the greatest moments of his career.
Jackson had 641 receptions for 11,263 yards and 58 touchdowns with nearly half of those touchdowns coming on plays of 50 yards or more. He has more 60-plus-yard touchdowns than any player in NFL history.
But when it comes to iconic moments of his career, there’s one that stands front and center: The Miracle at the Meadowlands II.
Tied 31-31 at what is now MetLife Stadium with 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Giants punter Matt Dodge punted the ball straight to Jackson, who bobbed, weaved and ultimately danced his way into the endzone for a game-winning touchdown (much to the fury of then head coach Tom Coughlin).

Jackson went on to play another decade of football, continuing to make spectacular plays and leading the league in yards per catch four times throughout his career.
