VICTOR DIMUKEJE TEARS HIS PEC…
According to ESPN, OLB Victor Dimukeje tore his pectoral muscle during offseason workouts. No word yet on how much time he will miss. The 6’2”, 262-pound Dimukeje was drafted in the 6th round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Cardinals. In four seasons with Arizona, Dimukeje has played in 55 regular-season games with eight starts, accruing 67 tackles, seven tackles for losses, four sacks, 16 quarterback hits, one pass defense, and two forced fumbles. He also has been a core member of the special teams.

GIANTS CUT LIL’JORDAN HUMPHREY AND CASEY ROGERS…
The Giants have terminated the contract of WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey and waived DT Casey Rogers. The Giants signed Humphrey as an unrestricted free agent from the Denver Broncos in March 2025. The Giants signed Rogers as an undrafted rookie free agent after the 2024 NFL Draft. He spent most of the year on the Practice Squad with the Giants signing him to the 53-man roster in December. He finished the season back on the Practice Squad. Rogers played 33 defensive snaps in two games.

GIANTS SIGN THREE DRAFT PICKS…
The Giants have signed three of their 2025 NFL Draft selections:

  • OL Marcus Mbow
  • TE Thomas Fidone
  • CB Korie Black

GIANTS SIGN 13 ROOKIE FREE AGENTS…
As indicated above, the Giants have officially signed 13 undrafted rookie free agents:

RB Rushawn Baker, 6’0”, 225lbs, Elon University (VIDEO)
Baker is a big, athletic back who was very productive at a lower level of collegiate competition. He is a decisive runner with good vision, balance, and burst.

WR Beaux Collins, 6’3’’, 206lbs, Notre Dame (VIDEO)
Collins is a big receiver and a good athlete. He is not very elusive and he needs to improve his consistency catching the football.

WR Antwane Wells, 6’0’’, 205lbs, University of Mississippi (VIDEO)
Wells has good size and is a decent athlete. He is quick for his size and can separate, but lacks ideal speed. He adjusts well to the football and runs well after the catch.

WR Jordan Bly, 6’0”, 166lbs, Gardner-Webb University
Bly is a smaller, fast receiver who plays bigger than his size. He has good hands.

WR Da’Quan Felton, 6’5’’, 216lbs, Virginia Tech (VIDEO)
Felton looks the part. He is a big receiver with good overall athleticism and speed. He has a very good catch radius and has solid hands. Raw, Felton needs a lot of work on route refinement.

WR/ST Dalen Cambre, 6’0″, 192lbs, University of Louisiana
While listed as a wide receiver, Cambre makes his mark as an outstanding special teams player, where he was one of the best in the country in college.

TE Jermaine Terry, 6’4’’, 245lbs, Oregon State
Terry is a tall, lean tight end with good overall athleticism. He has a good catch radius and hands. As a blocker, Terry performs best as an H-Back and not inline.

OL Jaison Williams, 6’4’’, 320lbs, Youngstown State
Williams played tackle in college, but may project to guard in the pros. He started 52 games in college and only allowed one sack his senior season. He is a good athlete, but needs to add strength. He also needs a lot of technique work.

OLB Trace Ford, 6’2″, 252lbs, University of Oklahoma
Ford is solidly-built with good initial quickness, change-of-direction, and closing speed. While not experienced in coverage, he shows the ability to do so. His college career was hampered by injuries (torn ACLs in both knees, fractured kneecap). However, he tested very well at his Pro Day.

CB O’Donnell Fortune, 6’1’’, 185lbs, University of South Carolina (VIDEO)
Fortune is a tall, thin, fluid corner who lacks ideal speed but plays with good instincts. He makes plays on the football as an outside corner. He is quick and closes quickly. Bigger receivers can out-muscle him. Fortune needs to improve his tackling and play against the run.

CB R.J. Delancy, 5’11’’, 193lbs, University of Wisconsin
Delaney lacks ideal size, but is a very good athlete. He was a back-up his final season in college at Wisconsin.

S Makari Paige, 6’4’’, 208lbs, Michigan (VIDEO)
Paige is a tall safety with long arms. Versatile, Paige has played different roles in multiple schemes. He is a decent athlete, but lacks range and fluidity. Paige may be best suite as a situational, role-player against big tight ends. He is a good special teams player.

S Tommy McCormick, 6’1’’, 210lbs, University of Idaho (VIDEO)
McCormick is an instinctive, well-built safety who makes a lot of plays.

ISAIAH SIMMONS SIGNS WITH PACKERS…
On April 28th, New York Giants unrestricted free agent quarterback Isaiah Simmons signed a 1-year contract with the Green Bay Packers. The Giants did not seem to have a clear plan in 2024 for Isaiah Simmons, who was used in a hybrid nickel defensive back and off-ball linebacker role, mostly as coverage specialist. His snap counts varied wildly on a week-to-week basis. Overall, Simmons played in all 17 games with one start, playing in 17 percent of defensive snaps. He was credited with 21 tackles, two pass defenses, and one forced fumble.

MIKE DERICE DEPARTS GIANTS…
The Giants and Mike Derice, who has served as a national scout for the team for the past three years, have parted ways. It is not publicly known why. Derice joined the Giants in 2022.
