New York Giants superstar Malik Nabers appeared to have torn his ACL during the team’s upset win over the Los Angeles Chargers, and recent tests confirmed the worst. According to reports across the league, the second-year wide receiver will miss the remainder of the season.

BREAKING: Malik Nabers Tears ACL, Star WR Out For Season
Malik Nabers tore his ACL early in the team’s 21-18 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Playing alongside rookie Jaxson Dart, the quarterback threw a deep shot downfield for his top wide receiver. Nabers went up for it but landed awkwardly and immediately collapsed on the ground in pain. The cart took him off the field, and reports quickly came in saying that the Giants believed he tore his ACL. Today’s reports confirmed that original assessment. Nabers will finish his second season with 18 receptions for 271 yards and two touchdowns.
Nabers originally entered the NFL as a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Selected by the New York Giants, the LSU product immediately became one of the league’s most dangerous all-around threats. Despite playing with a poor quarterback room, the rookie finished his inaugural campaign with 109 receptions for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns on 170 targets while earning a spot on the Pro Bowl roster.
With Nabers sidelined, Dart will spend the rest of his rookie season throwing to a wide receiver room led by Wan’Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton. While these two are solid depth players, don’t be surprised if the team adds another wide receiver via trade or free agency in the coming days.
