INJURY REPORT – ANDREW THOMAS COMES OFF OF PUP…
RB Eric Gray (knee) remains on the Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) List and OLB Victor Dimukeje (pectoral) remains on the Non-Football Injury List.
LT Andrew Thomas (foot) passed his physical and was activated from the PUP.
WR Dalen Cambre (unknown), WR Da’Quan Felton (unknown), OT/OG Josh Ezeudu (unknown), ILB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (unknown), CB Deonte Banks (unknown), and CB Tre Hawkins (hamstring) did not practice.
WR Malik Nabers (unknown), LT Andrew Thomas (foot), and S Tyler Nubin (unknown) were limited and did not participate in team drills.
“I’m just going one day at a time,” said Thomas after practice. “I can’t really predict (if I will be ready for the opener) right now. You should see the progress that I’ve made in the last few weeks. We don’t know where it will end up, but I’m just trying to do what I can to do to be back… Today was (individual drills) and I did some more running stuff on the side with the training staff so I guess we’ll progress from there and see how it goes… I would say today was that first opportunity, doing individual, actually hitting somebody who’s 300 pounds, working on double teams and things like that. Like I said, I haven’t taken a full-speed game rep, which I think is hard to replicate, but I think that was progress today, and we’ll keep building and see where it goes.”
RB Cam Skattebo (hamstring) participated in individual and 7-on-7 drills.
S Raheem Layne (unknown) left practice early.
