The New York Giants are currently slated to pick #2 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, so it’s mock draft season. Let’s take a look at what a potential draft could look like if trades are included.
2026 New York Giants Mock Draft – With Trades
First Pick – 1.08 Makai Lemon, WR, USC
After a trade down with the New Orleans Saints for the 1.08, 2.40, and 3.70, the Giants select another playmaker wide receiver to pair with Malik Nabers. 2026 needs to be about a full evaluation of the offense. The Giants must ensure Jaxson Dart is the guy for the team long term. Getting him weapons is a good place to start.
2.34 – Gennings Dunker, OT, Iowa
There’s an old adage in draft circles: when in doubt, draft an Iowa lineman. Dunker is a bit of a tweener when evaluating him for the next level, as many think he needs to kick inside to guard. In this Giants mock draft, Dunker can get an opportunity to earn a spot at tackle in camp. If he fails, he can kick inside to be a difference maker for the team in the run game.
2.40 – Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas
If Dunker doesn’t work out as a tackle because of his measurables, Goosby might work. He’s listed at 6’7″ with arms that can reach the top shelf at the grocery store. He’s long and a mean fella in the run game. With holes at right tackle and across the interior of the offensive line, taking multiple swings on toolsy prospects can help the Giants in this mock draft.
3.72 – Eli Stowers, TE, Vanderbilt
Theo Johnson is fine. But Stowers has the potential to be a real difference maker, and the Giants need to focus on getting one side of the ball right this offseason. The defense has a lot of the pieces to be a good unit long term, so an investment around Dart can help them even the playing field to become a more complete team. The converted quarterback is still developing as a tight end, and if he hits his ceiling, this is a homerun pick for the Giants in the third round of this mock draft.
4.102 – Will Lee III, CB, Texas A&M
Finally dipping into the defensive side of the ball, Lee had his best games against the best receivers he faced this year. With a long, physical playstyle, Lee can help keep the ball in the quarterback’s hands a split second longer to help that defensive line get home more often in 2026. He’s a sure tackler and was a veteran leader in the Texas A&M locker room in 2025.
5.141 – Jaden Greathouse, WR, Notre Dame
Jaxson Dart had a ton of success throwing contested catches to Tre Harris in college, but hasn’t had a similar target on the Giants yet. Greathouse is a menace with the ball in the air, using all of his 6’1″ frame to box out defenders and pluck the ball out of the air. He’s not going to be a Pro Bowler any time soon, but he can be a chain mover and is a solid run blocker for a player who would be the wide receiver four or five for the team in 2026.
