Tina Charles had 23 points for the Connecticut Sun but it wasn’t enough as they fell to the Washington Mystics, 90-85, in the 2025 WNBA season opener at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Sunday afternoon.
Former Husky Olivia Nelson-Ododa had 18 points and eight rebounds while Bria Hartley 11 points and three assists for the Sun. Aaliyah Edwards did not dress due to injury for the Mystics while Stefanie Dolson had just three points.
