The Sun couldn’t spoil AT’s return to Mohegan Sun Arena.
Alyssa Thomas had a double-double with 14 points and 11 assists to lead the Phoenix Mercury to an 83-75 win over her former team. the Connecticut Sun, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Wednesday night. Aneesah Morrow led all scorers with 16 points.
The Sun’s UConn women’s basketball contingent was lead by Olivia Nelson-Ododa who had a double-double of her own with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Bria Hartley added nine points while Tina Charles had just two points in limited minutes.
