The fall slates at Morrone Stadium are set.
UConn’s soccer teams both released their 2025 schedules on Friday. The women’s side will open the new campaign at home on Sunday, Aug. 17 against Stony Brook while the men’s squad will take the field for the first time on Thursday, Aug. 21 at Syracuse.
There’s just one home double-header on the slate: Saturday, Oct. 18. The women will take on Villanova at 1 p.m. ET while the men will face St. John’s later in the day, though the time has not been announced.
Every home game will be played on-campus at Morrone Stadium in Storrs.
UConn women’s soccer is coming off its best season under Margaret Rodriguez. The Huskies won the Big East Tournament and earned their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2016. They knocked off Rutgers in the first round then led Stanford 1-0 through 85 minutes but gave up two goals in the final five minutes and lost 2-1.
The team will unofficially begin the school’s 2025-26 athletic season with an exhibition at UNH on Wednesday, Aug. 6 followed by another tune-up at home against UMass on Sunday, Aug. 10. Highlights of the non-conference schedule include a trip to Texas A&M on Aug. 23, a home matchup with Brown on Aug. 28 and a rematch of the 2025 NCAA Tournament first round at Rutgers.
UConn will also travel to Yale (Sept. 4) and URI (Sept. 11) before closing out the non-conference slate at home vs. Maine (Sept. 14).
From there, the Huskies begin Big East play with St. John’s on Sept. 20. They’ll face Xavier (Sept. 24), Creighton (Oct. 4), Marquette (Oct. 11) and Villanova (Oct. 18) at home, while visiting Georgetown (Sept. 27), Providence (Oct. 1), Butler (Oct. 15), DePaul (Oct. 22) and Seton Hall (Oct. 25).

The Huskies will face URI and BC in exhibition action before starting the regular season at Syracuse. UConn will host UMass in its home opener on Aug. 24 while Manhattan (Aug. 31), CCSU (Sept. 4), Colgate (Sept. 7), Harvard (Sept. 13) and Bryant (Sept. 23) will also come to town in the non-conference. The Huskies will take on NJIT (Aug. 28) and Brown (Sept. 10) away.
