Five-star Long Island Lutheran guard Dylan Mingo took an official visit to Miami this past weekend and will trip to UConn this coming week, he told ZAGSBLOG.
“The visit was really good,” he said. “I had never really been to Miami until then and it was really good. The people were really nice and everything.”
How does Miami envision his role if he were to go there?
“They talked a lot about how they view me as a point guard that’s still growing,” he said. “Helping me with my development and enhancing all of my performance.”

Next up, Mingo heads to UConn this week.
“Dan Hurley and Kimani (Young), we talk a lot,” he previously told ZAGSBLOG. “We really just talk about anything. About working on my game. They keep me updated with how things are going up there. They just tell me to ask them any question I want any time, so I can learn and get better.”
NC State, North Carolina, Alabama, Penn State, Virginia, USC, Baylor, and Washington are also involved.
