For the Syracuse Orange All-21st Century Team for tennis, we are going to use the standard college line-up of six singles and three doubles. The Orange qualified for four NCAA team Championships during this time period (2016, 2018, 2019, and 2021). The team advanced to the second round in 2016 and 2019, thanks in part to some of the players on this list.
Let’s see which athletes will be taking the court for our squad:
Singles:
Gabriela Knutson– Two-time All-American in singles competition. Two-time All-ACC selection. 2nd on the all-time Syracuse wins list with 178
Viktoriya Kanapatskaya– All-American and All-ACC selection. Finished the 20-21 season ranked 20th in the country.
Emily Harman- 3x All Big East selection. Soladay Award winner. Won 125 games
Masha Kabanova- 6th on Syracuse’s all-time wins list with 151 wins. Won over 40 matches twice in her Syracuse career.
Maddie Kobelt- All-Big East and All-ACC selection. Won 101 matches in her Syracuse career.
Wei-Ming Leong- Won 131 games in Syracuse career, which is tied for 14th all-time.

Doubles (3)
Gabriela Knutson/Miranda Ramirez– Earned All-American honors in 2018, the only Syracuse doubles team to receive that honor.
Sofya Golubovskaya/Sofya Treshcheva- 2018 ITA Northeast Regional Indoor Champions.
Miyuka Kimoto/Polina Kozyreva– competed in the 2023 NCAA Championships
