but not college hoops video games
Happy 4th of July Syracuse Orange fans. This week we asked if you were interested in TBT and Boeheim’s Army and many of you confirmed that you have at least some level of interest.
We know that it would be more appealing to field a true alumni team, but with several former Orange suiting up in NBA Summer League, the Army had to enlist some others. Still, this year’s team is mostly Cuse alums and we think people are excited to see Buddy Boeheim and Elijah Hughes back in action.
The same can’t be said for news that a college basketball video game is a few years away. Most respondents don’t seem to care about EA Sports (and maybe 2K) bringing the game back to fans. It probably didn’t help that the last versions of college hoops games were not as well-received as football. Could there be a new college lacrosse game in the future?
Speaking of college basketball, Fan Duel currently has Purdue and Houston as the favorites to win the 2026 men’s title at +1000. Syracuse is currently at +15000.
