Following a successful 10-win season, the Syracuse Orange football team has one of their top players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. Linebacker Fadil Diggs was selected by the New Orleans Saints with the 38th pick of the 7th round.
Diggs becomes the 1st Syracuse linebacker to be drafted since Zaire Franklin was selected in the 7th round by the Indianapolis Colts in 2018. He is the 4th Syracuse player drafted this year, the most since 2006.
