Looking to trade in Orange and Snow for Teal and Sun
Although none of the recent Syracuse Orange grads were picked in this year’s NFL Draft, at least one of them will get a chance to compete for a roster spot in training camp.
CB Isaiah Johnson, the program’s lone invite to the combine two months ago, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Miami Dolphins:

Johnson spent his undergrad years at Dartmouth before transferring to SU in 2022. Over two seasons with ‘Cuse, he tallied 115 tackles, nine pass breakups, two interceptions, and a forced fumble.
With the signing, there are now ten Syracuse alums currently on NFL rosters. Six of them were in starting roles at the end of 2023-24:
- OG Matthew Bergeron, Atlanta Falcons
- S Andre Cisco, Jacksonville Jaguars
- P Riley Dixon, Denver Broncos
- LB Zaire Franklin, Indianapolis Colts
- S Ifeatu Melifonwu, Detroit Lions
- CB Garrett Williams, Arizona Cardinals
Stay tuned to see if other Orange prospects earn NFL contracts.
