Hometown: Holbrook, New York
High School: Sachem North
2024 stats: Appeared in 10 games as an offensive guard and started the game against Miami. He played 175 offensive snaps with zero penalties and didn’t allow a quarterback hit in 114 drop backs.
2025 projections: Cruz will most likely start at one of the guard positions, with left guard appearing more likely following the departure of last year’s starter, Jakob Bradford.
How’d he get here?: Chose the Orange over offers from Lafayette and Stony Brook.
