Once again, all your Canadians belong to Syracuse
It’s time to start preparing for the 2025 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 2 of the Fran Brown Era.
Up next is…
Name: Antoine Deslauriers
Position: Linebacker
Year: Freshman
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 235 lbs.
Hometown: Montreal, Quebec
High School/Previous College: Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (GA)
2024 stats (High School): Won a state championship in Georgia with 135 tackles, 21 TFLs and four sacks.
2025 projections: Deslauriers went viral for his impressive physique last year. There’s no reason to believe that he’s lost any of that at Syracuse. His size should make him a good candidate for special teams early on. With uncertainties at linebacker behind Derek McDonald, there’s opportunities to be seized. Maybe Deslauriers can take advantage.
How’d he get here?: Syracuse won out despite many Power Five offers for Deslauriers. Auburn, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas A&M were just some of the schools who sent out offers for the linebacker.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Consensus three-star recruit.
Winners Get Washed: Method Men Glacier + Granite Body Wash – A perfect duo for Deslauriers given his Canadian roots and his BEEF (shoutout to Steve Dangle).

Interesting nugget o’interest: Taking advantage of the NIL era, Deslauriers is signed with Vantage Sports Agency. He’s been pumping out content on social media to grow his personal brand.
