Four-star guard Adam Oumiddoch is headed to St. John’s,
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Overtime Elite chose Rick Pitino’s club on Wednesday over Villanova, Oregon, LSU and Illinois.
“I will be attending the University of St. John’s,” he said at his announcement. “Go Johnnies.”
“I chose St. John’s because how I went to the visit and it automatically felt like home,” he told Rivals.com. “Also Rick (Pitino) told me from a development standpoint I’m going to leave there the best version of myself and that’s all I want.”
Oumiddock recently went for 34 points in a game, and poured in 31 points and 12 in another.
“I would describe my game as a 3-level scorer and a high IQ guy,” he told Rivals. “They fit my play style because there is a lot of off ball movement and fast pace. Also coach Rick loves big guards who can score at a high level.”
“The biggest thing a college is getting with Adam is his scoring ability. He is one of the best scorers in the country and is able to score effortlessly in a lot of ways. One of the things he is going to be really good at is spacing the floor.,” said Norm Richardson, the Cold Hearts Head Coach.

Oumiddoch, who visited the Big East school last month, is St. John’s first commitment of 2026.
“We are super excited to have Adam join our basketball program,” Pitino said. “Adam is everything we want in a young prospect, and he is driven to do anything he can to improve. We believe he can really excel in our style of play.”
