The Brooklyn Nets have signed forward E.J. Liddell to a two-way contract, adding depth to their frontcourt rotation. The 24-year-old previously spent the 2024-25 season on a similar deal with the Chicago Bulls.
Liddell appeared in 12 NBA games last season with Chicago, averaging 1.8 points in 4.4 minutes per contest. He also saw limited action in eight games during the 2023-24 campaign with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Liddell started 34 of 36 games, averaging 15.2 points on 47.3% field goal shooting and 37.3% from three-point range last season in the G League for the Windy City Bulls. Liddell also averaged 6.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.3 blocks in 31.7 minutes per game.
New Orleans originally selected Liddell with the 41st overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. He missed his entire rookie season after suffering a torn ACL in his right knee during Summer League play in Las Vegas.
