Wednesday night could be a big one for one NBA team after stock piling numerous picks in the first round.
According to Spotrac’s Keith Smith, the Brooklyn Nets own a “ridiculous” five picks in tomorrow’s NBA Draft and are a major team to watch when it comes to trades and potential movement up and down the board.
The Nets have moved off pretty much all of their big name players and contracts in recent years and are starting from the ground up under head coach Jordi Fernandez.

Fans began to speculate as to how the draft could go for BK on X.
“Trading for Ace,” a user said.
“they will still mess it up! 😭” a Celtics fan cried.
“Could see the kings being aggressive for the nets teens or twenties picks, they have been wanting to get in that range this draft apparently,” another replied.
“14 year old me did this on 2K all the time. It always leads to a dynasty. Minimum 4-peat,” a fan commented.
“They finally recovered from that KG trade? 🤯” another person asked.
“No star is going over there, Joe Tsai is the biggest prick in the NBA.”
“Just to trade them all for players at the end of their prime,” posted Anthony Sain.
“This is what a real rebuild and restocking of assets looks like. They could care less about the play in.”
The Nets have picks Nos. 8, 19 (via the Bucks), 22 (via the Hawks), 26 (via the Knicks) and 27 (via the Rockets). They obviously could package any number of those and move further up the lottery or potentially try to land a player from another team.
Brooklyn will be making its selections at its home arena too so they’ll probably try to do something that gets the crowd behind them. Find out tomorrow night at 8 PM ET on ESPN.
